Gastroenterology
Dr. Tim Laurie joins Oceanview Medical Specialists Gastroenterology Department from Illinois where he practiced clinical gastroenterology for over fifteen years. Dr Laurie obtained his Bachelor Degree in Microbiology, as well as a Master degree in Molecular Biology at DePaul University, before pursuing medicine at Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.
His training led him to a Residency in Internal Medicine and a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.
Dr. Laurie has held several academic positions including Assistant Professor at the Chicago Medical School, Associate Program Director of the Department of Internal Medicine Residency Program and was on the clinical teaching faculty for the Division of Gastroenterology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
Dr. Laurie practices clinical gastroenterology and hepatology, performing endoscopic investigations including Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
