
Neurology
Dr. Pari Young completed her undergraduate education at the University of Southern California. She received her MD degree from Tufts University and went on to complete her residency in neurology at the University California Los Angeles. Following residency, Dr. Young completed a two-year fellowship in Movement Disorders at UCLA. This training has given her advanced clinical skills in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s chorea, Essential tremors, and the dystonia syndromes.
Dr. Young’s clinical expertise includes the evaluation of patients for Deep Brain Stimulation therapy. She refers her patients for this highly specializedneurological surgery to the teams at both UCLA and Cedar Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Young established the VCMC Botox Clinic for neurological diseases in 2010. Dr. Young is able to treat patients with Botox for migraine, blepharospasm/hemifacial spasm, dystonia, and spasticity. Her clinical interests include the medical and surgical treatment of Parkinson’s Disease. Dr. Young is available for neurology consultation and subspecialty neurology referrals for Movement Disorders.
