Rheumatology
Dr. Paramjit Singh grew up locally here in Ventura County, attending California State University Channel Islands and earning her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis on Cell and Molecular Biology as well as a minor in Business Management. Pursuing her passion for medicine, she later attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, obtaining her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
As an Internal Medicine Resident at Kaiser Permanente Fontana, Dr Singh shined amongst her peers, being named both Intern and later Resident of the year. Her leadership skills were honed as she took on the role of Chief Resident and was elected to Kaiser ‘s Quality Improvement Committee.
Dr. Sing’s interest in Rheumatology during her residency training led her to pursue a fellowship at the Case Western University Hospital Cleveland Medical Center in Ohio. There, her compassion and caring for her patients was recognized, as she was honored with the prestigious Aadel Askari Memorial Award.
Dr. Singh made the move back to Ventura County in late 2023, where she joined Oceanview Medical Specialists Rheumatology Department, returning to provide medical care to her hometown community.
Dr. Singh provides clinical consultation and ongoing medical care with a focus on Rheumatological disease at both Magnolia Specialty Clinic in Oxnard, as well as Conejo Family Medical Clinic in Thousand Oaks.
