Neurology
Elizabeth McIntyre, PA-C has extensive clinical experience that she brings to her role as Physician Assistant in the Neurology Department. Having initially worked in business administration and theater arts, she developed an interest in patient care while working as an ambulance based emergency medical technician. She soon decided to pursue a career in medicine and trained as a Physician Assistant at Emory University School of Medicine. She has focused her work in Emergency Medicine and Orthopedics prior to pursuing the field of Neurology. Besides providing general neurology care, she holds a special clinic dedicated to complex migraine headache management. Elizabeth’s clinical interests also include Traumatic Brain Injury and the evaluation and treatment of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI).
