Dr. Maamar-Tayeb earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He then went his Neurology residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and his Neuromuscular Fellowship at University of California San Francisco. In his spare time, Dr. Maamar-Tayeb enjoys playing the violin, mountain biking, running, and hiking
