Hematology and Oncology
Kay (Kanchana) Anand, is a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist with over two decades of experience treating a wide range of cancer and blood disorders. Since 2001, she has been part of the Southern California Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in West Los Angeles Medical Center, where she leads the Thoracic and Gynecologic Oncology program. Her practice included treatment of all solid tumors including Breast, Gastrointestinal malignancies and the treatment of hematological malignancies such as the management of acute leukemias, lymphomas and Myeloma. Dr. Anand performs procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, and intrathecal chemotherapy. She has previously practiced in Nevada and Arizona and completed her Oncology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine after training in internal medicine in New Jersey and the UK.
She has been an active participant in community oncology research through CCTAP since 2001, contributing to both laboratory and Phase III clinical trials.
Dr. Anand is licensed in California, Hawaii, and Georgia and is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population.
